In John 3:16, we read these words from Jesus, “ For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” Take a careful look at what Jesus said here:

GOD LOVED – GOD GAVE – YOU BELIEVE – YOU RECEIVE ETERNAL LIFE.

John 1:12-13 puts it like this, “ Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God – children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband’s will, but born of God.”

If you believe in your heart that Jesus died on the cross for your sins, you can reach out to him and receive him into your life as your Savior. You can do this by praying this prayer:

Dear Jesus, thank you for dying on the cross to pay the price for my sins. Thank you for the forgiveness I now have for all my sins. I willingly accept you as my Savior and my Lord and commit myself to loving and serving you for the rest of my life.
