Crèche Vision

The GKids Leadership have been assessing the viability and sustainability of a Creche Ministry that serves parents and young children aged 1-3. This expression of interest is for the purposes of ascertaining who would be interested in joining the Creche team as a volunteer.

This proposed area of ministry would commence in Term 4 2023 providing that there are sufficient volunteers to operate the rooms. Volunteers within our GKids Ministry serve a minimum of twice per school term.

A creche ministry has been identified as a need by a large majority of parents in our church with children within the 1-3 age bracket. A creche would accomplish a range of outcomes such as:

Allowing parents with children aged 1-3 to serve in a Sunday service.
Getting children who are 1-3 to transition well into the pre-school rooms after having the continuity of moving from creche to pre-school.
Encouraging parents to be engaged in the service inside the auditorium.
Expanding the reach of the children’s ministry at Generations and creating a space where 1-3 year old children can be served and ministered to as we make the most of the time that they have at church services.

All children’s ministry volunteer applications are subject to an internal approval process and further information would need to be sought at a later stage. Formal offers to join the team are subject to internal screening and Board approval*
