This November, through Kingdom Builders, we’re partnering with Open Doors to support Christians around the world who face persecution because of their faith.
What is Kingdom Builders?
Kingdom Builders is our way of partnering together to see God's Kingdom advance beyond the walls of our church. As we step out in faith and give above our tithe, we invest in seeing lives transformed, communities impacted, and future reached with the hope of Jesus.
Around the world, 1 in 7 Christians face persecution for following Jesus. Since 1955, Open Doors has been strengthening and supporting the persecuted church, working in more than 70 countries to provide Bibles, discipleship, practical relief and encouragement to believers facing unimaginable challenges.
Standing with the Persecuted Church.
These are our brothers and sisters in Christ, and as one body, we are called to stand alongside them.
“If one part suffers, every part suffers with it.” 1 Corinthians 12:26
Let’s support them in prayer continuously, and giving this month to bring hope and encouragement to those following Jesus, even when it comes at a great cost.

Pray for the Persecuted Church
For persecuted Christians, knowing they are not forgotten can mean everything. Our prayers matter. They bring encouragement, strengthen the Church and invite God to move in situations beyond our reach.
Sunday 1 November is International Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church. Let’s be a church that remembers those in chains and faithfully lifts up those suffering for the name of Jesus.

Know Their Stories
It’s difficult to stand with those whose struggles we don’t understand. The World Watch List 2026 is a crucial resource for any Christian seeking to better understand and support the persecuted church.

Give Hope This Christmas
A Christmas gift this year could make an eternal difference. Through Open Doors Gifts of Hope, you can give meaningful gifts to loved ones while providing Bibles, practical care items and support persecuted Christians.
Be a Voice for the Voiceless
Millions of Christians across sub-Saharan African have been displaced by violence and conflict. We have an opportunity to speak up for those whose voices are unheard. Add your name to the Open Doors global petition calling for protection, justice and restoration.

About Kingdom Builders
-
Through Kingdom Builders, we support initiatives that are Local, Global, and Future-focused. We partner with organisations and mission partners who are serving people in practical and life-changing ways, we invest in the spread of the Gospel beyond our own community, and we sow into the generations coming behind us so they can know and follow Christ.
Kingdom Builders is about more than meeting immediate needs, it is about building a legacy of faith. Together, our generosity becomes part of a bigger story as we help create opportunities for people to encounter Jesus, find hope, and experience lasting transformation.
Each month, we will spotlight a Kingdom Builders project, mission partner, or organisation and provide opportunities for our church family to pray, engage, and give.
Throughout the month, we'll share updates, celebrate what God is doing, and see firsthand how our faith-filled generosity is helping build His Kingdom for generations to come.

Every gift makes a difference. Through Kingdom Builders, we partner together to advance local, national, and global mission initiatives, building a legacy of faith for future generations.

The Kingdom Builders Team is here to help our church stay connected to the mission partners, ministries, and projects we support throughout the year.
We are passionate about prayer, encouragement, and sharing the stories of what God is doing through Kingdom Builders. We connect with those serving on the field, learn about their needs and prayer requests, and help our church partner with them through faith-filled generosity and ongoing support.
As a team, we have prayerfully sought God's direction in selecting the mission partners, ministries, and projects we will support throughout this financial year. Using a clear framework and guided by our Kingdom Builders vision, we have intentionally chosen ministries that align with our values, demonstrate integrity and good stewardship, and with whom we can build genuine relationships and ongoing connection.
You'll find one of us at the Kingdom Builders table in the foyer after each service. We'd love to answer your questions and help you learn more about the incredible people and ministries that are advancing God's Kingdom in their communities and beyond.
