Culture Codes

This list of core values is so important to the heartbeat of our Church. They create filters for how our leaders make decisions in order to facilitate and implement the culture. We desire that all of our staff, leaders, and members exhibit these attributes in their daily lives, influencing everything that they do for the glory of God.

  • We are kingdom minded to make an earthly difference here and now.

    Matthew 6:33 (NIV)
    But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

  • We build on the Rock, because His Word is our firm foundation.

    Matthew 7:24 (NIV)
    “Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock.

  • We pray first, not as the last response.

    Ephesians 6:1 (NIV)
    And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.

  • We love, accept, and forgive, because God’s love flows through us.

    1 John 4:7 (NIV)

  • We are generous on every occasion, because God has enriched us in every way.

  • We do everything wholeheartedly, as working for the Lord.

    Colossians 3:23 (NIV)

  • We put others first, because we are devoted in love.

    Romans 12:10 (NIV)

  • We serve sacrificially, because Jesus gave His life for us.

  • We remain teachable, because we choose humility over pride.

    Philippians 2:3-4 (NIV)
